Distribution has the meaning assigned by subsection 55(1) of the Income Tax Act (ITA). For that reasons of section fifty five with the ITA, a distribution means the direct or oblique transfer of property of the corporation (referred to in section fifty five being a "distributing corporation") to one or more of its corporate shareholders (refe
